Immokalee Medical Trip

Donation protected
Please join me in raising funds for the Miami Dade College Humanitarian Medical Mission for the affected families in Immokalee, Fl. post Hurricane Irma. Immokalee, located in southwestern Florida is home to approximately 24,000 immigrants and migrant families. Irma had a direct hit on this small community and families living there have lost their homes, clothing, personal belongings. They are in dire need of clothing, food, water, medications, medical care, fresh linens, and hygiene products. I will be joining a team of Doctors, ARNPs, Nurses and MDC medical students from October 27-31st. We will be providing health screenings, medical attention, supplies and education to all affected families. Your donation will be used to purchase supplies for these victims. Our goal is to provide all victims with a health screening, medical treatment and a care package. Please help me meet my goal of raising $1,000 by October 21st.  We are also collecting canned goods, water, clothing, shoes, hygience products, air matresses, etc. The average pay for an undocumented migrant worke in Immokalee is $30-40 a week. Due to the extent of the damages to the crops and fields many families will be without  a job. Every donation you give, every bit of it counts! Thank you in advance for your interest and support!
