Jennifer's medical fund

Jennifer has a had the year of her life. She got engaged to the love of her life in July 2015 and embarked on the planning of this special day. There were trips to meet and see family, holidays as a couple, showers and getaways to celebrate the upcoming day, and lots of planning. In March, Jennifer noticed a lump and is vigilant about self exam and after doctors visits, mammograms, and biopsies, her worst fear was realized.... "I have breast cancer." With a wave of emotions and the focus on the future and JOY, Jennifer and Jason were able to experience a Perfect Wedding Day on March 26, 2016 and relaxing honeymoon of their dreams. The return to Texas brought reality back to the forefront and now the battle begins for this special couple. She has made her way to a great team of doctors and made some surgical decisions with major surgery planned Wednesday, April 20th. The full pathology and further treatments are unknown, but she is at peace with upcoming surgery. The course of healing will be long with multiple appointments. And the blessing in that is that is where her family and friends and coworkers can really stand in the "gap" for her by way of prayers, meals, running errands, transport to appointments, housekeeping, running to grocery store, washing the car, etc. This site is devoted to helping Jason and Jennifer navigate the upcoming months and feel the love of a body of people who give of themselves to help carry the load. We hope you will visit the site often for updates, pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18), and assist where ever you are able. Thank you in advance for the ways you will touch their lives:)

From Jennifer :
"Hello, thanks for stopping by, checking in, and most of all for your thoughts and prayers during this time. I unfortunately was diagnosed on March 16, 2016 with infiltrating ductile carcinoma of the breast. Currently I do not know the stage but my doctor feels that we caught this early. This past Wednesday, April 13th I underwent a lymph node biopsy, which will help my doctors in staging the cancer as well as deciding a treatment plan. I am having a double mastectomy April 20th, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, TX. This was a personal decision that my doctor feels is the best one I could have made. Please continue praying for me, for my strength, for the medical team, as well as for Jason and my family during this time. "

If you are able to leave a small donation, say a prayer, or both then that would be appreciated or share things amount your friends!
