This beautiful individual happens to be my Aunt. Wonderful in so many ways, she
has helped me and many others navigate through life and become the people you see today. I can say without a doubt, I wouldn't be the person I've become without her loving guidance.
Jennifer is a mother to 3 beautiful children Faith, Gracie and the handsome little man is Cohen. The lives of her natural born two are a miracle in and of themselves. Gracie was adopted as an infant from Haiti. Jennifer was told she would never have children! The Adams have helped bring children out of Haiti for care and treatment and their home is always an oasis for laughter, love and healing. There isn't anything they wouldn't do for another.
More recently our family has stepped into some devastating news, Jennifer has Lyme disease as a result of a tick bite back in 1998. Jennifer has spent the last four years in and out of the ER, doctors offices, labs, hospitals for an illness that was there all along. Doctors were trying to treat the symptoms but not getting to the root. The doctors never caught it until recently and the Adams family is now faced with paying for treatment with little help from insurance. As they must now treat conventionally as well as holistically and outside the medicine box as the lyme has affected nearly all of her bodily systems. The 2 year treatment is in NY and KS with estimated costs of $200,000 for treatment and travel. Jennifer will be away from her family a total of 25 weeks which for a mother of young children is an insurmountable amount of valuable time.
The immediate need is $10,000 for the first treatment scheduled to begin April 16th.
