On November 25, 2019 Jenn would go through one of the biggest devastations, if not the biggest in her life. Taking not one but two seizures as well as suffering from a stroke in the left side of her brain. This was caused by a rare blood clot in her brain as well as a brain bleed in a complete separate area from the clot. Neither one being good for the other. After being intubated and put into an induced coma for 24 hrs under intensive care, she was extabated then transferred to the neurology unit. Her prognosis looks positive but her rehabilitation and physiotherapy will be a long road ahead. Along with the cost of day to day living expenses, this support will also help offset the cost of medications which are not covered through Jenn’s health insurance. The toughest reality is time doesn’t stop and bills add up. No one wishes a tragedy to hit a family at anytime, much less during the Christmas season which can be stressful for all of us. We all know Jenn is not one to ask for a hand out, but will be the first one in line to help you.
