Hi my name is Diane Johnson and I am Jeffrey Lauer's fiancé. We are raising money for Jeff's Lung Cancer treatment.
The money will be used to pay doctor bills, purchase reliable transportation for Jeff and living expenses. Jeff is just starting his journey of cancer treatment so donations can be used immediately and throughout the duration of his care.
On December15th 2017 Jeffrey (56), was diagnosed with in-operable small cell lung cancer after going to the emergency room for what we believed to be pneumonia. Jeff was given the devastating news that it was not pneumonia it was Cancer.
Jeff is the sweetest and most selfless person I know. Jeff is a cheerful, positive man who loves the simple things in life and displays love for others around him. Even with his terrifying diagnosis, life goes on as normal as possible for Jeff. During his journey, he has been the epitome of strength. There is no anger or self pity. We ask that you please keep him, and his family, in your thoughts and prayers as this tough road begins for this incredible man.
Jeff grew up the youngest many children. After his mother passed away when he was 10 years old he and his siblings were raised by his father.
Like his father, Jeff also knows what it is like being a single father. Jeff has four wonderful children including his youngest daughter who has cerebral palsy.
For over 30 years Jeff has worked in a trade taught to him by his father. He is a contractor. His biggest love of the trade however is carpentry. Jeff's eye for detail and perfection always makes his projects a works of art.
Jeff cherishes the simple things in life and displays love for others around. Jeff often packs fresh sack lunches to give to those that are hungry and less fortunate that he encounters in his travels. Even with his terrifying diagnosis, life goes on as normal as possible for Jeff.. During his journey, he has been the epitome of strength and courage. There is no anger or self pity.
Any donation will be incredibly helpful and appreciated as Jeff will often be traveling to Seattle for treatments and assessments.
