Help Support Jeff & Yolie Fowler

In mid to late July, Jeff and Yolanda Fowler both underwent major surgeries; Yolanda having total knee replacement, and Jeff having open heart surgery. At that time it was unknown to them both the saga that would soon unfold. Subsequent to Jeff’s surgery, he contracted a severe infection, which turned a short hospital stay into a several months long ordeal. After, nearly three months in one hospital in Aurora, Jeff was transferred to Loyola. During this time, when Yolanda was recovering, she was off work, driving back and forth to see and care for her husband, all while trying to make it to her follow-up and physical therapy appointments. Unfortunately, with this unexpected and extended hospitalization for Jeff, he was not able to go back to his job, which meant they had no income coming in, with the exception of Yolanda’s limited ETO. As we all know, normal household bills don’t stop for situations like this, and now the hospital bills were already coming. This GoFundMe is being setup to help Jeff and Yolanda tackle some of the expenses they have incurred and with normal household bills. As Jeff is finally home, but still recovering and has a long road ahead, he won’t be able to return to work for quite a while, and Yolanda’s income is all they have right now.
