Jeff's Journey to Healing

On April 18th, 2017 Jeff Green was diagnosed with Leukemia - an aggressive blood cancer. This past year he has been in and out of the hospital for weeks at a time, including a stay in ICU.
3 different rounds of chemo, countless blood and platelet transfusions, numerous bone marrow biopsies and nearly dying 3 times! Its been rough!
We're now at July of 2018 and Jeff is still battling for his life! Sadly, Jeff is back in the hospital for yet another round of powerful chemotherapy. But Jeff is strong, and a fighter and as a family we will NEVER give up!
God is bigger than any diagnosis, any prognosis, any treatment, any statistic or any data. We believe that Jeff WILL BE HEALED!
UPDATE: Our house is in foreclosure - the foreclosure date is September 7th. We have done EVERYTHING we could to work with Guild Mortgage to modify our loan or get a forbearance - yet they STILL foreclosed on a man with cancer!
We've put our house in Tacoma up for sale, in the desperate hope we could sell it before the foreclosure date and try to come away with ANY money - this is not ideal as its very stressful to be forced to sell our home WHILE Jeff is hospitalized getting treatments. Especially considering having no place to go. As of writing this update we've had no offers.
We believe in MIRACLES! Help spread the word and share our story - perhaps it will reach enough people to raise enough to save our home. Or reach the heart of a benevolent person who wants to help a family save their home.
Because of this debilitating disease, Jeff has been unable to work. His entire savings has been obliterated as medical bills and living expenses pile up. Its profoundly heartbreaking that within the richest country in the world a family loses everything they have worked for (not given, WORKED for) when struck with a terminal illness and unable to work!! His wife Karin had to quit her job in order to care for him this past year. They are hopeful that disability will kick in, but in the meantime they have been blessed by donations to pay for cancer treatments not covered by insurance, to pay bills and to put food on the table.
