My name is Ceci Sevilla, and I am a Code Enforcement Officer with the City of Santa Rosa. I have had the pleasure of knowning Jeff for 2 years now and his colleagues from Anderson, Shasta County, and Redding.
Jeff Furnish, one of our many hybrid Code Enforcement Officers(Building Inspector/Code Enforcement Officer) of roughly 10 years and located in Region 1 (Redding/Shasta County) has unfortunately been affected by the devastating Carr Fire that has ripped through Shasta County/Redding in what is being described as “Apocalyptic devastation”.
This has been a very tough year for Jeff and his family. It was not too long ago that he suffered an accident which caused him major head trauma resulting in self induced coma. Luckily, and with many prayers given, Jeff pulled through and began his slow recovery from his terrible injury.
Fast forward months later, Jeff and his wife Kym as well as Jeff’s in-laws are once again faced with trying times. Because of the horrific Carr Fire burning still today, Jeff and his wife Kym and in-laws have lost their homes. Jeff is still unable to work as he is still recovering. As a result and with the help of his dear friend and colleague Shauntelle Sellers Kelly, we have set up this page to help aid Jeff and his family through this devastating time. Any and all donations are humbly appreciated. We’d like to express our sincere thank you in advance for any help you can give to Jeff.
