Born to Sing and Living my Dream
I know for sure that NOW is the time for me to live within my musical beat, claim my musical inheritance and share my gift of song with the universe.
TIME gave BIRTH to CHANGE
I decided at the age of 48 that being complacent with my life was no longer an option. In 2011 I weighed 472 lbs and I feared reaching 500 lbs. In July of 2011 I decided to have a Gastric Bypass. To date I have lost 245lbs.
Being morbidly obese leaves you in a very dark and lonely place but, in the darkness MUSIC always resided. When all else failed my musical talent was there like the air I breath. No one can take it away or touch it because it is mine! My music gives me power, brings joy to others and continuing to take it for granted is no longer an option. It is time to give my music a new life and give it to the universe!
CHANGE became~ IRIDESCENT OCTOBER
I am grateful that the decision to make improvements within my life lead to a new self actualization and the creativity of my Debut CD along with its special title.
IRIDESCENT OCTOBER depicts my life and journey for the last five years. Time has been my friend and gave birth to CHANGE , changing the past within my mind and soul, and changing my the future by giving birth to new opportunities.
The Debut CD is complete! Please Give....
Thank you for your past donations! Iridescent October is in New York getting it's final touches so that for it's January/February Debut!
So many things have transpired since August of 2013 when we first began this project.
There have been surgeries, a big dose of stress, heart attacks, friendships lost, creative differences among musicians, lack of money, Jimmy John Deliveries, Gigs, Crown Funding campaigns, donations , faith, perseverance, personal growth, lessons learned, blessings from above and NOW a Debut CD.
NOW it is time to take Iridescent October to even higher heights. I will still need funds for marketing, and travel expenses.
You donations will continue to help with the success of IRIDESCENT OCTOBER. Your donation will also get you a copy of IRIDESCENT OCTOBER.
