My sister, Jeana Chambers Coburn was diagnosed with breast cancer about 10 days ago (June 2018). The cancer has already spread but at this time we are not sure how much. By God's Grace, she was accepted to Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
She does have insurance but we all know they do not pay for everything. She has a $3000 deductible and will have co-insurance to pay until she reaches her total out-of-pocket. Also, there will be hotel and traveling expenses in addition to the medical bills.
Jeana has not been able to work for the past month due to the pain associated with her cancer so regular living expenses were already tight. Her husband continues to work and travel to see her when possible.
Several family members have stepped up to help, but those funds are very limited also.
We will keep you updated on her progress.
