Josh's Hernia Mesh Removal

Hello!
My name is Josh and I'm trying to get the funds together to remove mesh implants from my hernias and repair them.
This is very short notice but the surgery is scheduled for Sept 28th! Plane tickets are purchased but I just found out that the doctor is going to need all of my copay up front and the hospital is going to want some as well.
My story:
I had bilateral inguinal hernia repair 5 years ago and had a reaction to the "safe" mesh that was implanted. Come to find out the "safe" mesh never went through human clinical trials; just in vevo (in pigs), and in vitro(test tube). You might have seen the comercials for the lawsuits of bladder slings and whatnot that also use the mesh. A lot of people are having severe reactions to it and its destroying lives including mine. The week after I had the mesh implanted I was in so much pain that I wanted to die. I'm now in constant level 4/5 pain at least and am exhausted all the time. By noon I feel like I've worked a hard 8 hour day and by the time I'm off of work all I want to do is go home and rest. No energy to have fun or enjoy life... I barely hang out with friends, very rarely go hiking, can't go biking, to name a few. It's no way to live life and is causing anxiety and depression. At this point if I don't get the mesh out I will be starting the process of going on disability which I would love to avoid. I love my job and want to continue working. It also may continue to worsen and cause autoimmune problems. Since the mesh is supposed to be permanent, I need to see a doctor that specializes in the removal. This means I have to go out of state to Knoxville, TN. Even with insurance it's going to cost me a lot! I have to pay for the hotel for 9 days, copay, anesthesiologist (since they are never covered by insurance), medications, and food. I will also still have to pay rent and utilities which will be difficult since I will be out of work for at least 3.5 weeks IF NOT MORE! The amount on this gofundme is just going to be a fraction of what I'm going to end up paying.
Asking for help, especially financial, is very hard for anyone to do, including myself... It is time though! So, please please please if you can spare anything, even a dollar (or whatever the miniumum is on here,) it would help me get this mesh out and start to get my life returned to normal and avoid disability.
