Building Purchase Campaign
Tax deductible
Riverside Rescue is a 501 (c)3 non- profit animal shelter that was established in 2005 to help the homeless pets in Essex & Caledonia Counties in Vermont as well as Coos & Grafton Counties in New Hampshire.
The shelter currently rents kennel space at Riverside Boarding & Groomings facility located at 236 Riverside Avenue in Lunenburg, VT. The current owners of the building are looking into the near future of retirement and we need to think about the future of Riverside Rescue.
We, as donors, volunteers, supporters and adopters, need to raise $250,000 to puchase the building because Riverside Rescue can not go away! Hundreds of dogs and cats are placed into homes yearly and this is a service that needs to continue as well as the low cost spay and neuter program that helps several hundred people a year get their pets altered and vaccinated at a lower cost.
As a community, lets all get together and reach this goal over the next few years. Losing Riverside Rescue will be a terrible loss. Who will take on the pets in need and the huge veterinary bills that follow these pets??
Please visit the website www.riversideanimalrescue.org for current fundraisers, information on pets for adoption or how you can help.
