Support the Brothers Family

In March of 2015 Jay Brothers was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor – Grade 4 Glioblastoma, the most aggressive type. He immediately underwent brain surgery and began receiving radiation and chemotherapy. Upon his return home, his wife Jen cared for him around the clock, while managing to run a household and care for their two young sons as well as daughter and grandson. With such a large responsibility on her plate Jen was unable to commit to a full work schedule. Shortly after being diagnosed Jay lost his job, thus depriving him the ability to adequately support their family and the growing medical expenses and also caused the loss of their employer supported medical benefits. Jay and his family are now faced with an extremely expensive cobra fee, not to mention the cost of medicine and copays, to ensure he can receive proper medical treatment. Clearly the loss of income and the added cobra expense have been financially devastating to the Brothers family. 

Recently Jay was placed on hospice, as the emotional pain and pile of medical bills grows, please not only keep the Brothers family in your prayers but also support a family in need.

Jay has dedicated his life to helping others. He served honorably for our country in the US Army, as a substance abuse counselor he has helped thousands of people overcome their addictions to alcohol and drugs and as a church leader has been a spiritual influence to others. Unfortunately Jay’s illness has progressed to the point where he can no longer help others and is in dire need of assistance.
