Jaxx's Hospital Fees and Travel

Jaxx Daniel Cruz was born on August 16. His parents, Katie and Danny, were told early on in the pregnancy that he could need as many as 3 surgeries throughout his life and that the earliest could be right after he was born. However, they would not be sure about the immediate surgery until he was born. When he was born, the doctors determined that he would need the first surgery within the first week. He will have his first open-heart surgery on Tuesday, Aug. 22. Jaxx will then need to stay in the hospital to recover for about 2-6 weeks. The procedure will take place at The Children's Hospital in LA. Katie and Danny will need to drive back and forth (they have 2 sweet kiddos in Yucaipa) and will also be staying out there to be close to Jaxx during his recovery. We are asking for funds to help with travel and lodging expenses, as well as hospital bills. These funds are needed immediately as Katie will be staying in LA Aug. 22-23 (possibly longer) this week.
