Last night  (8/11/2018) my sister and a few of her friends were victims of a hit and run. My sister got the worst damage.  She was mowed down by a motorcycle  and as a result shattered her foot and completely destroyed most of her leg. I am truly beside myself since my sister is just a baby, she’s literally only 27 with one baby boy . However I thank god for sparing her life. I am still praying, my whole family is still praying. Keep her in your prayers. She’s now admitted in the Kingston public hospital where she has undergone several surgeries to save her leg . I’m here in the states and if she was here with me things would’ve been far different as hospitals here are different from the ones back home in Jamaica where it operates on a prepaid system.  Whatever contributions that anyone can give to help with the costs of the medical  and the recovery process.  Is appreciated. they’re going to put metal pins in her leg for the first operation. The pins came in at a cost of 110 thousand Jamaican dollars (about 900usd) and  there’s two or so more operation to be done based on what I’ve been told plus the medication among other things.
  All this could’ve been avoided in all honestly. The most painful part is 1) the bike isn’t insured 2) the rider hasn’t got a license and (3) they rode off and left her  victims there as though she was a dog. I’d appreciate anything given to help.
