Jasper's 84 mile walk to Sri Lanka

I have finally completed my walk! I have achieved my goal and surpassed it, which is absolutely terrific! The walk was really hard, but we did it. Thank you so much for all of your donations, I will update you when I get back from my trip this summer!
My hike along Hadrian’s wall
Hello! I am writing to tell you about my 84 mile hike, the length of Hadrian’s Wall. On the 9th of February I will be travelling North to start my walk; it will take place over six days going from coast to coast. I will be doing this in the Half-term holiday, as to not miss any school.
Why am I walking Hadrian's Wall?
Although I do enjoy the challenge, I am mainly doing this as a fundraiser for my approaching trip to Sri Lanka in July, where I will be going with a number of other students from my school in Farnham to help children from our sister school on the Island.
What I will I be doing in Sri Lanka?
Upon arrival in Sri Lanka I will be partnered with a ‘buddy’ from the school community of approximately my age. We will work together on projects, which could include supporting the construction and/or decoration of classes and play areas, small group teaching or storytelling, running Sports days, or setting up workshops for textiles and craft. My school has been running these trips for several years now, and they have been a massive success, helping not only the school community in Sri Lanka, but the students who go on the trip also, as well as contributing to the Sri Lankan school’s funds.
How have I been raising money so far?
As well as friends' and family contributions, I have also been earning money over the past year. For example I have been helping Gaze Burvill by making a tool to help employees organise their time, which has been very successful, as well as smaller jobs such as washing the car, mowing the lawn etc. I have also sold some items and I am planning to have a big sale in the next few months. The target total is £2750, and although I have achieved several hundred, there is still some way to go, and my Hadrian’s Wall expedition is the major part of my campaign.
I would like to ask if you would support my upcoming expedition? As well as being very excited about the trip, I feel it is very important to me to go to Sri Lanka and experience the culture there, and to help the community there in any way that I can, and all contributions, however small, are warmly appreciated.
