On Saturday, August 27th, Jason Kosola passed away after a tragic accident involving slipping off a docked boat into the water, and suspected underwater head trauma and subsequent drowning are to blame. Friends immediately jumped in after him, but the fading light and deep, dark waters proved too much to be able to find and aid him in rescue.
We are deeply saddened for his entire family.... his two children, his suriviving mother, his girlfriend, his friends and all of his co-workers. Jason had 2 children: Max, age 14 and Jake, age 16.
We will do whatever we can to support the family through this difficult time and help ease the pain for his entire family. We are asking anyone who knew Jason to please donate a unspecified amount of money which will go towards school clothes and supplies for his children, college tuition and funeral costs.
Jason was a positive infuence for Summa Realty and was a prominent part of our family. Jason's enthusiasm, generosity, talent and friendship were as genuine as they come. Whether we were aware or not, he would work tirelessly to continually make a positive impact on the lives of everyone here at Summa, as well as in his personal life. His efforts will not be forgotten, but honored as we move forward, always with his spirit on our collective shoulders.
Jason was not just a co-worker, he was a genuine person, a leader, a confidant, a dear friend, and most importantly a father. He had a presence that could fill the room with smiles and an uplifting attitude that made him so great to be around at all times. With much love and respect, Jason, his family and loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers through this extremely difficult time. We will never forget you.
