Jasmine Olson's Medical Expenses

Jasmine developed severe neurological symptoms while at school Wednesday morning. We are unsure of the exact cause, possibly a gymnastics injury. She was taken to Colorado Children's Hospital in Aurora on November 17th.
Jasmine has a team of doctors working to figure out what is going on. They are trying to decide between transverse myelitis and stroke to the spinal cord. They are treating her with large amounts of steroids to reduce the swelling on her spinal cord and monitoring her improvements. They will compare the first MRI to the one she will have on the 20th to hopefully get a more definitive diagnosis.
When Jasmine first arrived at the Children's hospital she was intubated, not breathing on her own and was paralyzed. Today, November 19th, Jasmine has had the breathing tube taken out and she is breathing on her own!!!! The Neurolgoist said she can't believe Jasmine has come so far in two days but she is expected to have a very long road to recovery. The power of prayer and our wonderful God is amazing! Jasmine is moving her right arm and leg more and has slight movement in her left foot.
