HELP MY MOM IN HER CANCER JOURNEY

My mother (Janice Woyan) has always been a strong, independent working woman who's a fighter in life & always doing for others. Little did we know she'd have to soon fight FOR her life.
My mom was a hard worker, always working and never taking time for herself. In Oct 2013 her company unfortunately closed down after she'd been there for 12 years. Though it was something we were upset about it was a blessing in disguise!
She would be losing her benefits in December so she decided to get checked out. She would have never went then to the doctors for her mammogram if her insurance wasn't about to be over. Holidays way too busy. In November of last year she did & we got the worst news of our life! My mom was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. I lost it. . . I didn't know what to say, what to do. All I could do was hold her and tell her how much I love her and remind her how strong she is. This would be the hardest battle she would ever face.
Dec 2013 she had a total mastectomy. In Feb 2014 she started chemo. On July 3 she had her last treatment. She's fighting strong and always has such a positive attitude - no matter what is thrown her way.
For those of you who know my mom, She has too much pride to ever let people know she needs help with anything but I know she does. Since she lost her job and diagnosed money has been a hard thing to come by. I work hard to try to contribute to my family and help as much as possible. Really just barely getting by. The medical costs are outrageous.
She has finished chemo which was one of the hardest things in her life!! She lost all of her hair (and her hair was her everything!!) Everyone would call her beaufont cuz how curly n high she'd always have it haha! She has a lot of side effects from chemo but taking one day at a time.
Now she needs reconstructive surgery to finish her journey and we don't have the money to get the surgery done. She lost her benefits then went on COBRA which is very expensive. Her medical care is the most important thing right now.
That's why I took matters into my own hands and started this page. I just want to help my mom get this surgery done so she can be genuinely happy at life again! I dont want her to stress out when this is the time in her life where she needs to not stress about anything. She is my best friend!!
Any donation would be greatly appreciated. To know you guys are helping my mom kick cancers butt is the most appreciated thing ever! They said she had a 47% chance of it coming back if she didn't go through all of the treatments. She did it all. Such a strong woman. I will do anything to assure them, her & cancer she will overcome this 100%!!! Thank you so much & God bless!
