Mother - Janice Phillips' - burial

This is a picture of my mother and her "granddog" Po, which was taken around her birthday.
At the age of 76, my mother, Janice Phillips, had fought many battles in her life and was very tired. Although no "new" health problems had occurred in mid-December, she determined on as of late, she determined on December 11, 2015, to refuse breathing treatments, her CPAP machine, further hospitalization, etc., and requested comfort measures only. Although her death was not imminent, we all knew it would most likely occur in the not-to-distant future. She held on until January 2, 2016.
Since Mom had her first stroke at age 57 and was unable to work from that point forward, she never had very much. She has a $200 burial policy and that's all. Her funeral expenses - if her wishes are to be buried with her family at Bethany Baptist Church's Cemetery in Andalusia are followed - will be $2,900.00.
We don't have the funds to bury her as she wishes, and we would be forced to cremate her instead.
