Dear Friends and Family,
I'm excited to have my choreography accepted into 4 festivals for 2019:
The Cambridge River Festival Saturday June 1st,
Dance For World Community Saturday June 8th,
Salem Arts Festival Saturday June 9th,
and The Festival of Us at the Dance Complex Saturday June 22nd!
However, I am only given a small amount per festival and unfortunately this is not enough to pay the 6 dancers I am working with what they are worth.
If you are able to donate a small amount to fund the dancers that would be greatly appreciated. This would benefit the talented dancers who work so hard.
All of the festivals I am showing my work are free and open to the public, so please come out and see us!
The pieces being performed are 'Classical Hop' which I have shared here and I am also choreographing a new piece entitled: ‘Journeys’ which will utilize the music of 3 African American female composers. It will span across 3 centuries and will cover past, present, and future.
