Jan Kunz Memorial Fund

Only the good die young.  Good doesn't even come close to describing Aunt Jan.
Jan Field Kunz was known for her amazing smile and contagious laugh. She was 46 years young and has spent the past 12 years battling breast cancer. Jan has shown us what it is to be a warrior. Amidst countless chemotherapy sessions and radiation treatments, Jan always made time to put everyone else first: family, friends and even strangers.

She was truly a devoted woman and showed love daily in her words and deeds. Jan kept a smile on her face up until the very end. Jan’s husband and children have suffered alongside her the past 12 years as they have helped her fight this battle. Although we will never be able to take away the suffering that losing a wife, mother, and grandmother can bring, it is our wish to help alleviate some of the financial suffering that comes as a result of such a long battle with a serious medical condition. Please help us give back to this wonderful woman! This fund is being established to help with funeral expenses, medical bills and debt that has been incurred while the Kunz family has been caring for our sweet Jan.

Jan's passing is proof that only the good die young, but the giving and love her family has received and continues to receive is proof that what goes around comes around.  I can't wait to see all the good the Kunz family has coming their way, thanks to the kindest, bravest, most optimistic person that deserved better than this world had to give.  We will miss you and your ever-present smile Aunt Jan.
