Family, friends, followers and fellow photographers,
It is with absolute sadness and disbelief I tell you that Jamie Anderson has gone to be with Jesus in heaven. Jamie suffered a fatal brain aneurysm on Saturday, June 13.  I do not need to tell you how big of a hole this has left in so many hearts. Jamie was so much more than an absolutely amazing photographer; she was a wife, a mother, a friend, an artist and most of all, a believer.

We are praying for Jamie's family and friends during this terribly unexpected and difficult time. Jamie has touched so many lives and brought so much incomparable beauty to our world. If you’ve spent any time alone with her, especially with a newborn, you couldn’t help but be in awe of her vivacious yet calming spirit. They will need many things, above all, prayer, but money will be needed to help this family. Funds will go towards hospital bills, the funeral service, and any living expenses that the family may have to incur due to time off work, etc. Please donate what you can to help John, the kids.

As a Christian, Jamie saw the world differently than many people. She knew absolute joy in our Savior. The love He has for His children is unequal to anything we will experience in life. Jamie knew that her place on this earth was temporary, and we are certain of her place in heaven. None of us are worthy of the love He bestows upon us, the endless grace and mercy we are shown. And yet, God so loved the world that He sent his only son to die for us on the cross. A man with no sin, the Son of God, Jesus Christ, died on the cross for you, for me, for Jamie. And then he rose from the dead 3 days later just like we will rise again in heaven. We do not mourn for Jamie, whom we are certain is in heaven, but for those of us left here trying to imagine a reality without her.

The world lost so much beauty when Jamie left it, but she did not leave it untouched. She left us with tangible, undeniable proof of her presence through her Husband, her children and her art. Her God-given talent and pictures will be displayed for generations to view and cherish.

The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:2
Jamie accepted His gift.

And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory. Romans 8:30 NLT Jamie has been glorified.

Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
