9:30pm December 6th went from a normal evening and quickly turned into the biggest nightmare of our lives.
What we thought would be a routine trip to doc in a box turned into a 36 hour roller coaster race to the ER, an ambulance ride to CHKD, and the words no parent ever wants to hear.
Cancer, Chemo, and a lot of "we don't really know for sure."
I'm not usually one to do this but it was suggested and at this point in time I'm reaching out as far as I can. We don't know where this road leads. We don't know what we're up against financially. We do know we're going to need help.
James will have surgery Monday to remove what they think is a Wilms Tumor as well as the placement of his chemo port.
We will share our updates when we can. For the time being we appreciate all of the calls, texts, messages, and endless prayers from our dear friends and family. We feel your love and we love you all so much for it.
