James Cully’s Cuddle Cot
Donation protected
On March 7th, 2019, our beautiful son James Adam Cully was born far too early to be compatible with life. After his birth, we were able to spend time with him, take the only pictures that he will ever have, and hold him whenever we wanted to. That time to bond and those pictures we took are the best memories that we have of our beautiful son.
After losing him, we knew that we needed to do something in honor of James. We want his life, even though it was so brief, to matter and to make a difference for others. The Cuddle Cot is a device that allows parents to keep their child’s body at their bedside, which gives the parents more time to bond with their baby. Since that bonding time was so important to us, we want other parents experiencing loss to feel comfortable with keeping their child with them as long as they need to to say goodbye.
We would like to raise money to donate one in James’s honor. The company provides the option for a plaque on the device, which we would use to dedicate to all the friends and family of James. This device will be able to help so many families with coping with the unimaginable loss of a child.
The device costs about $2900 including shipping and tax. Any additional funds above and beyond this amount will go towards an additional Cuddle Cot or to Angel Names Association, a company that provides bereavement boxes and outreach.
Thank you, everyone, for considering a donation. Our whole family is very appreciative.
Love,
Bridget & Rob “Banjo” Cully
