As an independent Aussie artist i'm calling upon the help of my beautiful & loyal followers from around Australia to be a part of bringing my new songs into the world.
For those of you who have followed my journey you would probably agree it's time for me to release some new music.
I'm hoping to raise funds to pay for musicians, recording, mixing, mastering, artwork, printing & promoting my third studio album which I plan to release in early to mid 2019.
Total costs exceed what I hope to raise through here but this amount will greatly help me to get there.
Over the years i've learnt how to achieve the sounds I want in the studio & with this next album I'm confident that what will be created will be my best work yet.
I've made many friendships along the way & I'd like to bring together select people (who I know & trust) to give life to the songs.
One of these people is the beautiful Wendy Matthews who i've had the great pleasure of supporting on many occasions. Wendy has been kind enough to offer her stunning voice for a day in the studio and accompanying her will be her magnificent keys player Mr Brendan St Ledger .
I will be travelling to the North Island of New Zealand for the beginning of the recording process as I have the great opportunity & privilege of having Michael Barker (former John Butler Trio Percussionist) lay down the groove for these new songs.
COST BREAKDOWN
(These figures are not my total fee's but will contribute to overall costs!)
- Recording percussion in New Zealand with Michael Barker
(playing & recording fee) $3000
- Brendan St Ledger (recording fee), Double Bass Player & extra studio time back in Aus with Michael Lynch - $3000
- Album artwork/ graphic design & video clip - $1000
- Printing, Promoting & Mastering - $2000
Donations over $1000 will receive a House Concert to be arranged before the end of 2019
