The Jamaican National Basketball Program has not been able to field a youth team in FIBA youth competitions for over 10 years due to a lack of funding. In 2016, with the help of Jamaicans, Canadians and American and lovers of youth basketball, the U17 Jamaican National team Qualified for its first FIBA U17 Centro-basket Championship. The

In Santo Domingo, July 26 - 30, 2017 !!
This is a not-for profit organization, run by volunteer professionals and Coaches in the Youth Basketball Industry. Committed people like President Dr. Mark Brumsfield, Coach Tarry Upshaw work with The Jamaican National Program to field true National Basketball teams, true to Brand Jamaica Basketball and will now be competing at the July 2017 FIBA Centrobasket Championships held in Santa Doningo, Dominican Republic for the first time in a decade.
This year, Team Jamaica will be represented by the finest competitive Basketball athletes and supporters from Jamiaca, USA and across the country of Canada and we are very excited about the our path to success.
Our 15 best and brightest athletes are working very hard with their coaches to represent Jamaica for the first time in 10 yrs well and strengthen their International reputation of success with Brand Jamaica.
We really need your support !
This is a long journey filled with a lot of hard work by the athletes and coaches (Canadian) at each of our two team training camps. Unfortunately, this is also an expensive journey and, with your help, we can keep our athletes focussed on their training rather than on raising funds.
All monies raised will be used for travel to the Championships in Panama in June , training and accommodation expenses for both of our training camps, the apparel, uniforms and gear so they can look world class as well as the costs of participating at the Championships.
Please give generously and please encourage your friends to support also. Your donation will go to get the U17 mens team to Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic and help the U17, U16 and U14 with Uniforms and gear. Each athlete has a target --- help them reach their goal so they can focus on their dream of standing on top of the podium at the World Championships.
