The Jamaican National Lacrosse team needs your help to cover the costs of attending the FIL World Championships in Netanya, Israel in July 2018. We make history in July as Jamaica debuts its first-ever national lacrosse team.
Our team needs your help! Despite being the national team, since lacrosse is not an Olympic sport, the team receives no funding from the Jamaican Olympic Committee. We estimate the total cost to be ~$90,000 to cover the travel costs and team expenses for 26 players and 5 coaches. These expenses include airfare, hotels, team equipment along with FIL participation fees. Each team member is making whatever contribution they can, but in some instances, the suggested contribution is more than some players can afford.
