The Jake Heasman Memorial Fund

This campaign has been set up to create a legacy that will remember Jake Heasman.
Jake despised bullying, and channelled his energy into sportsmanship.
All funds raised will go directly to a CIC called Rise up Against Bullying, that amongst other things, visits schools and teaches children about the effects of bullying on others and much more.
Sam Rowe, who runs the non profit organisation, also spearheads a programme that has proven time and time again how it helps keep young people out of trouble and teaches them to respect themselves and others.
I will be working with Sam, to help spread the word and somehow lighten Sam's load.
Some of the ways funding can help include ordering merchandise which is popular and raises even more money, travel expenses for Sam to visit schools around the UK, ( Hailsham schools will be spoken with about him visiting in the very near future), maintenance of the website, hire of gym facilities, training sessions, administration, publicity and advertising, the list is endless. It is a shame that such a simple thing as money can help so much, but with cutbacks in local funding, Sam has been left to fend for himself and has been paying deeply from his own pocket for months to try and keep afloat.
Apart from Go Fund me processing fees.every single penny will go directly to these worthwhile causes, every penny will be accounted for, and through social media everybody will be able to stay up to date and actually see how the money is being used to help others.

I know for sure that whilst being a bit embarrassed and more than somewhat humbled, Jake would have approved of this.
