Jahnah Camille's Debut Single Production
Hello!
My name is Jahnah Camille. I'm a Birmingham, Alabama local musician. I've been doing music since I was 4 and that includes playing guitar, singing, and writing.
I strive to make music that embodies what it means to be a woman. For me, I feel as female perspectives are essential to the music community. A lot of artists don't always have original lyrics and male writers dominate positions of power. Of the ten most wealthy song-writers of all time, only two are women. I strive to make music that is multi-faceted and authentic to my life experience.
When I started working with my mentor, John Stringer, he asked me about my goals as a musician for the year 2019. For a few months prior to this particular meeting, I had already been pondering the idea of having music on all platforms, that I would not only like, but be proud of and listen to myself.
When I do shows, people ask about how to listen to my music. Hopefully, your donations will help me move towards a better answer. I want to be able to have my quality work on Spotify and Apple Music along with one minute Instagram clips. Aiding the costs of studio time would be appreciated above and beyond! I hope you all love what I have in the works!
