I am really excited to announce that I will be undergoing gender confirmation top surgery (breast augmentation) with Dr. Sinclair in Beverly Hills on August 1st 2018 as well as laser hair removal prior to the surgery in preparation.
This is something that I have been planning and working towards for the better part of the last two years and I am so excited that it is finally becoming a reality!
With the help of St. John's Wellness center and medi-cal, I am grateful that the cost of the actual surgery is fully covered, but I am raising money to help with my surgery prep and recovery immediately following my surgery.
I was advised by my dr. not to work and travel or fly for about a month following surgery, so the money raised and donated will be used to aid in my recovery, ease the financial stress during this time and prepare for this big moment in my life.
A big chunk of the money will go towards my rent for the month ($1200), food and groceries while recovering at home ($500), supplements and paying for a caretaker during my first week after the surgery. ($300) I will also be getting laser hair removal done in preparation for surgery. ($200) And then the remaining amount for misc. unforeseen costs and bills like phone, utilities, self care, housing needs such as a swamp cooler to keep my space cool in the summer heat and black out curtains while I recover. ($300)
