Jacop Family Carr Fire Relief
Donation protected
On July 27th, 2018 Heather Jacop’s and multiple other families were displaced from their homes due to the Carr Forrest fire currently raging through Northern California. Heather’s family was able to evacuate to a family friend’s home away from the path of the fire. They were able to remove a few sentimental items and the family pets (3 dogs and 1 bird) before evacuating. Luckily, no one was harmed, although the family is still recovering from the shock. Although we are all greatful for their safety, there is still a potential that many valuable and priceless items may have been lost. Currently the status of their home is unknown as they are not allowed up to there property to check. As of now the fire has devastated 95,368 acres and is currently 17% contained. It has also destroyed 874 and damaged 175 structures. Although Heather’s family would never ask for money on their own, we decided it would be nice to put together this fundraiser to raise some money to help support them and the other families they are with in their time of need. As they have no way of knowing when they will be allowed back to their home to assess the damage and start recovering from this devastating event, the money donated will be used to help support all the families they are staying with in the purchasing of food and other essentials. Any amount of donation will be greatly appreciated.
