Dear Family, Friends, and Community Members,
My name is Jacob Thompson. I am a Life Scout in Boy Scout Troop 267, Fredonia, NY. I have been in Scouts for 10 years and I am working towards earning my Eagle Scout rank. This is the highest rank in Boy Scouts and one of the requirements is to plan and complete a service project that benefits the community.
I am trying to raise money for my Eagle project, which is to construct a kiosk and mark the hiking trails at the Fredonia College Lodge. The kiosk will contain a covered colored map of the trails. I will also be marking the trails with reflective trail markers and labeled posts where trails intersect. This will assist hikers and cross country skiers from getting lost.
I am asking for any donations to assist me to reach my goal of completing my project and becoming an Eagle Scout.
