Jacob Eckman Lung Transplant
At this time Jake's fund is closed. We have met our fundraising goals for now. Thank you all for your donations and please keep Jake in your prayers!
Jacob is friend to many and an important part of our community here in Hardin, Montana. Jacob's lungs have been damaged by an allegic reaction to something yet undetermined and unknown . He is not physically strong enough to have a lung biopsy in order to determine the cause. This reaction has left him with the crippling effects of a rare disorder called Nonspecific Interstitial Pneumonia or NSIP.
He will be going through one more procedure so the doctors can have all the information needed to perform the transplant. After this procedure he will need to be ready for a call from denver at anytime to recieve the transplant.
The largest portion of Jacob's financial needs will involve his three month stay in Denver for recovery and transplant therapy. We are publishing this gofundme page in order to help him with the costs involved in relocating to Denver for his recovery period.
