Jaclyn's road to recovery

Jaclyn has suffered a vertebral artery dissection and has been hospitalized for almost 2 weeks now.  Her husband, Wes, has been by her side every step of the way. Wes and Jaclyn have a handsome 5-year-old son, Charlie.  So many people have asked how they can help, so we set up this page with the hope to help ease some of the financial stress, so when she gets out of the hospital, she can heal without worry.   Here is her story:
2 weeks ago, on Monday evening Jaclyn injured her neck at the gym.   It didn't hurt right away, and it was only until a few minutes later that her neck start aching.
She thought she pulled or strained my muscle.  Later that night the pain became excruciating and she couldn't do anything to make it better.  Sometime in the early hours on Tuesday, the left side of her face started going numb around her eye, down her nose and her jaw.
She knew it wasn't a pulled muscle at the point and made a doctor's appointment but was sent directly to the ER. She had a CT scan and they found that Jaclyn had a left vertebral artery dissection, basically a torn artery and a blood clot formed. The vertebral artery is one of the arteries that supply blood to the back on your brain, cerebellum region.  She also had an MRI to check and see if she had a stroke, and results came back that she did not have one.
She was admitted to the hospital and learned that the blood from her left vertebral artery, was being bypassed to my right vertebral artery.
She stayed in the hospital for just 2 days and was then released.  She came back the very next day because she couldn't stop throwing up and was in so much pain because she couldn't take any pills due to her getting sick.
They admitted her to the hospital again where she received another CT scan and the tear on her left artery got worse... admitted again from Friday to Sunday. During the week she was at home it went ok because she was able to manage pain and nausea with meds. She had to use a cane to get around because she had vertigo and was off balance.
The right side of her then neck started hurting pretty bad around Wednesday and she thought it was just overcompensating for the left side. The pain was the same as  last Saturday, it was unbearable and she couldn't control it, so they came back to the ER.   After spending the whole day in there she finally had another CT scan and found out that she had a right vertebral artery dissection now.   She was then admitted to the ICU and has been there since. The following day she had to have another MRI and this time they found out that she had a subacute mini stroke on the left side of her brain/cerebellum, which would explain why she was feeling even more dizzy and lightheaded.   During her time in this ICU she has had to have a few more CT scans to check on her arteries. They have just discovered that the right artery tore even more, and the clot grew a little bigger.   She is now waiting to talk to the neurologist to see what a long-term plan will be. Every donation, prayer, love and well wishes are very much appreciated!
