My Name is Jackson Schroeder, and I am a senior at West Texas High School in Stinnett. I am reaching out to you and other like- minded leaders and organizations to aide me in a journey of a lifetime. I have been selected to attend the 2017 Presidential Inauguration and Presidential Inauguration Leadership Summit in Washington D.C. beginning on January 18, 2017 and ending January 22, 2017. On Inauguration Day, I will be witness to the Inauguration of our 45th President of the United States as he takes his Oath of Office on the National Mall. I will also be attending the Envision Inaugural Gala to be held at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. As if witnessing and being a part of this historical event wasn’t enough, I will also be attending the Inauguration Leadership Summit. I will have the privilege and honor to hear from world-renowned leaders General Colin L. Powell, Malala (Nobel Peace Prize Recipient), Abby Wombach, Spike Lee, Governor Martin O’Malley, Presidential Candidate Carly Fiorini, and many others.
As previously stated, it is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will enhance my leadership skills as a young adult and as a future leader of our nation. The total cost to attend is around $3, 700, which does not include airfare or transportation to and from the hotel in D.C. Other expenses besides the airfare will include incidentals, tux rental, and proper dress attire. I am asking for your assistance in any way possible. I would like to ask that you consider helping me or forwarding this link on to someone who would be interested in helping me, on my journey to D.C. since it pertains to Leadership and building young leaders for a better tomorrow. I strongly feel this opportunity of a lifetime will enhance my leadership skills and diversify my portfolio as I prepare to attend Colorado School of Mines, in the fall of 2017, where I will be majoring in electrical engineering and minoring in explosives and applied mathematics and statistics.
