Jackson county Florida has been devastated. It's been said it looks like a bomb went off.  It is a rural area and there are elderly, shut-ins and farmers who can't get gas, food and have no electricity.   They are in danger as is their livestock. Their needs are critical.  Anything raised will help us purchase whatever it is they need right now and in the coming weeks. - Water, food, generators and gas.  Anything you can do is greatly appreciated.

Our first trip down (10/14) to Alford and Marianna, FL we were able to bring:  80 gallons of gas, 1 generator, dozens of cases of water, a truck load of food staples, a few tarps and some toiletries.  We've spoken to the Marianna Police Department to find the best location to set-up for distribution.  Thank you for donating supplies at the church and funds here so that we can take care of these folks!  We are also sending a crew of local folks to help cut down trees.  Pictures coming soon!

If you are able to donate time (preferably with a chain saw), please contact me directly at shanacase3@yahoo.com

The trips are being coordinated and supplies collected by Element3 Church, 1190 Capital Circle NE, Tallahassee, FL.

Donations made here (on GoFundme) are not tax deductible, but the funds will go directly to buying supplies for people in the affected areas.

Hey Folks,

Last weekend we went to Bristol and helped a family who lost everything get back on their feet. We brought 4 beds, food and supplies. We also found a community of neighbors that had banded together to share food, supplies, cook together and keep a mighty bonfire going. It was a true picture of friendship and community!!

Today we delivered generators and supplies to families we met on our Sunday visit. You may remember Mr. Brown (pic 1) who left a note in case help came by while he was out. Today it was reaching the low 90's and not having even a fan has been difficult....BUT we were able to surprise him and bring a generator and a connector for his well. His smile could of lit up the darkest night! He had his grandkids with him, and they and the whole family were incredibly grateful. Thank you for your generosity, which is what made this possible. I wish you could have been there!

Hey Folks,

Thank you for your contribution! It has enabled us to purchase FOUR generators and supplies (extension cords, gas & gas cans, converter for wells). This is going to help 4 families get water, keep their fridges going, and get a little electricty - a much needed service right now! We are taking them down tomorrow (Wed). I'll be sending pix when I get them.

Two other things to note:
1. For full transparency, I'll be posting an accounting of what has been spent so you know where your money has gone.
2. I've upped the amount needed, so we can hopefully serve more folks. (The generators plus supplies is about $900-1000 for each one.) I wanted to make you aware so you knew why it changed. :-)

Thanks for your support! The families this helps appreciate your generosity and all the shares of the campaign!
