My son has had his pride and joy - a Gilera Runner that he was restoring - stolen by thieves wielding machetes in Sutton, Surrey.
As if this wasn’t bad enough, when he was14 he was assaulted, whilst walking alone on the estate we used to live, he lost a tooth and had his face sewn up by a maxillofacial surgeon. He had just received his compensation money and spent it all on restoring his Gilera Runner.
Because of his age the excess on his insurance was so high that we only had third party, so now he’s left with nothing.
It makes me so angry that you can do everything right, I bought him all the locks, protective clothing, etc, then some selfish, cowardly thugs can just come along and take it all away.
I want to prove to Jack that most people are not like that and raise enough money to get him another Gilera Runner and restore his faith in human nature!
