JACKIE'S FIGHT FOR LIFE

Donation protected
When others may have given up, Jackie Lynton keeps on fighting: “When your life takes an unexpected turn, you receive the dreaded news that you have cancer, your whole life flashes before you. An overwhelming feeling of death with an underlying message to get your affairs in order, forced me to get in-touch with my vulnerability, my purpose and my calling. I have dedicated my life to serving others, people who needed a voice or have been marginalized and I want to continue to serve; giving hope and inspiring HOPE in others.”

Jackie was diagnosed with cancer on the 8th Nov 2016. The grapefruit sized tumour had grown in her appendix, spread to the colon, causing eventual collapse of her right kidney. In her critical state, the doctors informed her the tumours were too advanced for surgery, chemotherapy or radiation.  Left feeling without hope, she was sent home on hospice and palliative care as another casualty of the war against cancer, which has touched all of us.

Jackie's prognosis left her feeling she had nowhere to turn but her faith. Where others may have accepted this, she had hope and sought professional guidance with alternative and natural treatments supported by Lilybeth and Roliand Reynolds.  From leaving hospital, Jackie lost 3 stones in weight, developed sepsis, was unable to walk unaireded, talk without gasping for breath or carry out any personal care. In the months that followed Jackie has gained strength and continues to improve. Jackie attributes this to an outpouring of prayer, love and support from across the world.

Exactly six months on, through hope and faith, Jackie has defied the prognosis of not surviving discharge from hospital.

Celebrating 6 months on since diagnosis

However, Jackie's care has come with a demanding price of £15,000 so far. After careful consultation it’s Jackie’s wish to take her treatment to the next level as soon as possible. Further integrated treatments will include: 6 cycles of oncology treatment over 3 months in Turkey, intensive rehabilitaion and follow on treatments. These are Jackie’s immediate costs approximated at £40k. We want to raise as much as we can to support her treatment.

As friends of Jackie, we want to show our support for her courageous fight. To Joe for his untiring love, and their three daughters Jada, Chloe and Loi. Jackie’s will to live goes far beyond an unwillingness to die. It’s a fight to continue her mission. A fight for hope over fear. Where would any of us be without hope. It’s everything.
