Jacqueline Lopez Medical Expenses

Donation protected
On behalf of the Lopez family, we are writing to ask for your help. A student of our Alta Loma High School family, Jackie Lopez, has been in the hospital since December 2016.

Shortly after Christmas, Jackie complained of a headache and was later found in her living room unresponsive. She was quickly rushed to the hospital, where tests showed that Jackie had suffered a stroke; due to a very rare brain tumor called a Leiomyosarcoma. This form of brain cancer is said to be very rare, only one other case like hers has been reported.

These past seven weeks, Jackie has endured 6 surgeries to try and remove what they can of her tumor. She has currently started chemotherapy and will  later complete radiation.

Her family has been right by her side through this difficult journey, driving many miles back and forth to CHOC hospital. As well as, having to take time off of work. Any donation big or small will help them tremendously to pay for gas, lingering medical expenses, and lost wages.

Jackie misses her friends and just wants to get home. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
