Jack, Nancy, and Eve’s Breast Cancer Now campaign

Tax deductible

This year, the three of us, Jack, Nancy and Eve, will take on the challenge of a series of events and fundraising activities to raise money for the Breast Cancer Now charity.

As many of you know, it has now been 25 years since our Mum, Lesley Elliott, lost her battle to breast cancer. She was just 33 years old when she was diagnosed - a wife and a mother to three young children between the ages of 14 months and five years old. Sadly at only 35, despite her tremendous fight, she passed away.

With the support of some close friends and family, our mum dedicated a significant amount of her time to campaign to improve the national awareness of breast cancer and raising money for the charity Breakthrough, all whilst battling this terrible illness.

In 2001 a breast cancer research laboratory at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, was named ‘The Lesley Elliott and the people of Dorset Laboratory’ to show appreciation for all that they did.

The three of us now feel the time is right for us to do our part. We hope to raise as much as money as we can in the memory of our Mum and help thousands of other brave women and men who are being diagnosed with breast cancer every day.

Please share, and donate as generously as you can as every little will make a difference.

Breakthrough went on to merged with Breast Cancer Campaign to form Breast Cancer Now.

More information about Breast Cancer Now: We’re Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer charity – and we’re dedicated to funding research into this devastating disease. This year, around 55,000 women and 350 men will hear the words ‘it’s breast cancer’. And this month, nearly 1,000 people will have their lives cut short by the disease. That’s someone every 45 minutes. We believe that if we all act now, by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live – and live well. It’s time to act.
