Funeral Costs for Rory Chism

On November 19th, 2015, our family lost an amazing person who has touched the lives of so many around him. My brother, Rory Chism, was my best friend and loving brother.
On that day, the world lost a kind, caring and giving soul. Our family lost a son, brother, uncle, nephew and godson. His friends at Prairie Landing lost their golfing buddy. His adopted rottweiler, Karl, lost his best friend.
Rory loved golf and spending days on the course before entertainingat his home grilling for all of his friends and their families. He loved taking Karl for walks in Batavia that usually included several stops at the local establishments where everyone knew them.
With this tragedy comes a great unexpected financial burden and it is with a heavy heart that we are asking for donations to help with funeral costs.
We are grateful for the love and support in this time of need as we celebrate the life of someone we love so dearly.
Services for Rory will be held on November 24th from 4pm to 8pm at Peterson-Bassi Chapel at 6938 W. North Avenue in Chicago.
