Save Chai

Our little 1-year old Chai has something stuck in between oesophagus and stomach which will kill her if it is not removed this weekend. Her vet cannot treat her as the object is too deep and her tummy or chest will have to be opened in order to reach it. The operation needs to be done by a specialist clinic in Hertfordshire and will cost up from £5000. 

Due to the fact that I was still studying while we got Chai and the insurance made us pay £65 every month with an excess Vet fee of £110 every time we went, I decided to cancel it trusting that it will take a few years until a serious treatment will have to be done. 

There we are a couple of months later...our Chai vomiting for days in a row every time she eats something until the vet decides to do a xray which also cost us £360 on top of the £100 for initial treatment and inspection. 

Chai's Mum having just graduated and her Dad being a young creative with irregular income,  we do not have the means to pay £5000 on the spot for an operation, although we wouldn't hesitate for one second paying anything we have on our bank accounts. 

Chai is the most cuddly, calm and loyal creature and if anything deserves to live than it is her.
