Holiday Travel for Reunion

Hello all, and thank you for taking the time to read this story. It's the holiday season, as you are all aware, and as prideful as some of you know me to be, I'm here to ask for your help. Please donate to help me raise money for traveling expenses, so I can fly across the country and be there to witness my best friend get married.  Money seems to be the root of all trouble, but a group of us swore a pact back in 2008 that we would never miss one another's weddings, and I intend on keeping that promise. We haven't all been together since graduation, and on such short notice, this was the lowest price I could find. You see, I was raised to never give up. I couldn't be there for the bridal shower or bachelorette party, and was saving to make sure I could at least be present for the big day. But, with unforeseen expenses taking priority over travel, it seems as though the money I was saving can no longer be used for simply entertainment.  My husband is stationed with the Air Force in California, and we are buried beneath high living expenses  and massive student debt. We're only 24 and trying to make something out of very little.  Some friends and relatives pointed me toward GoFundMe as a possible solution to this mess. Raising this money would be the best holiday gift anyone could give me. Every small donation will help.
