Honduras Wood Projects

Dear Friends,
As you know Suzy, Wilder and I took 2 months off this year to come down and spend some time helping people in Honduras. The trip is entirely self-funded as far as our living and travel expenses, and obviously as wedding photographers we already have all the equipment and resources we need for all the photo and video projects they have asked us to help with.
However, even with all our planned service projects we still have a bit of down time here during the week. As many of you know I do carpentry as a hobby and build all kinds of fun custom furniture, and our friends were hoping that I could use some of our time to work on some well needed projects here at the training center. However, once we arrived we realized that they had run out of money in their supple budget a few weeks ago and have had to put a lot of their improvement projects on hold.
This is where you come in. I’m still planning on providing all the time and labor and will be building everything from scratch, but it would be really nice if I had a little help just to buy the lumber needed to complete them. It’s for things like a desk for visiting speakers to use at night when they are prepping their lessons, or a kitchen table for them to eat at, or for the dorms where all the students come from all over Honduras to attend seminars the bathroom mirrors are just pieces of glass held on the walls with a few screws and they thought it would feel just a bit more comfortable if they had wooden frames.
We’ll still be able to serve in a lot of other ways without the wood. But even if you would like to provide money for just one of the items it would be a huge help and keep me busy. I listed what each will cost below and I will be posting photos and commentary on each wood project as I complete it. If for some reason I don’t have time to complete all the projects I will leave the wood here for them to find someone as to finish as possible.
