Izzy Cox Memorial Fund

Donation protected
Izzy Cox peacefully and quietly passed away without pain last night, March 24th, 2017.

The love of 6 close friends were with her as soft guitars were played and songs sung to her. Her last words were "I love you", and she loved you all dearly.

These funds are now going to help support the memorial service, funeral expenses and any needed assistance to her brother and mother traveling in from Canada.

The memorial is in the planning stages and when the information becomes available it will be posted.

Thanks to you all for your compassion and support, I know it meant the world to Izzy.

~Pete

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Izzy Cox has pancreatic cancer stage 2.

Izzy is an accomplished extremely talented hardworking singer songwriter artist based out of Austin Texas. Taking the past difficult challenges of her life and growing up, she transforms all those experiences and depth into her heartfelt original songwriting and artwork.   She would work hard all day at her day job cleaning big houses and then run to play live shows.  This past June alone she played 15 live shows with her backing band The Ghosts.  However as many of us know, she has been playing shows for all of us for so many years, locally and as well touring all over.

If we all gather our stones  and add them together we can make a big splash,  so no matter what amount you can donate it will be extremely helpful.

This fund is being set up is to cover living expenses during the treatment process,  Meds and Copays, as well as some potential supplemental non-traditional therapies; nutritional, herbal, spiritual etc.    The medical treatment involves chemotherapy treatment and surgeries.

Izzy has already undergone two surgeries and is currently in the hospital. The chemo will have varying degrees of 3 day treatments then followed by the immediate side effects for many days, followed by about a week to let the body gather strength for the next cycle. The estimation is that this will take from 4 to 6 months.  More surgeries are also on the horizon.

Thank you so much to you all for your caring, empathy, prayers, meditations, thoughts, blessings and support.
