I am excited to announce I will be working on a very special capsule collection this Fall, showcasing on December 9th 2016. The focus of this collection is not only to use the least amount of waste possible, but to collaborate with local artists and environmentally-friendly businesses while inspiring others to do the same.
With over 16 years of experience in the fashion industry, I am determined to be a voice of change, and with your help I can get there! This Fall, my Capsule Collection is inspired by circuit boards and designed to provide an innovative glimpse into the future. This is not only a special collection for my label, but truly highlights my sustainable movement in the fashion industry.
I will be recycling all of my fabrics in order to minimize my carbon footprint and nurture the environment. The money you donate will be used to fund my fashion show, some of which includes: renting-out a venue, hiring models, and helping with the overall production costs. My fashion show goal this year is to bring other like-minded individuals together who are seeking to better the environment not only for ourselves but for future generations.
Shockingly the amount of waste we as humans produce is staggering! Sadly to say most of us on average spend $1700 on clothing annually, and with fast-fashion leading the way, one-third of this clothing goes to waste! We all have a choice! Buying less and investing in staple items is the way to go. Did you know, by transforming your old pieces into new things and up-cycling helps you save and protects the environment?
We all have a choice to improve our humanhood in every decision we make, even in fashion! . My mission is to create awareness, and inspire others to make the conscious eco decisions by taking a stance against the mal practices of the fashion industry, and motivating designers to produce ethical fashion.
