My name is Ixchel Prisma.
I am an independent artist dedicated to bringing uplifting and high vibrational music to the world. This is MUSIC AS MEDICINE: Designed to inspire healing, transformation, and expansion. I am a devotee of sacred sound, and my wish is to offer my prayers and visions to the world for the purpose of making it a better place!
Some one asked me recently, “What is one thing you could not live without?” My response? MUSIC. CREATING MUSIC. This is a passion that runs so deep for me that I wish to dedicate my life and livelihood to this offering.
About two years ago, I embarked upon the journey of bringing that vision to fruition. With a massive amount of trust, challenge, hard work, and support, I successfully raised enough money and resources to create my first full length album:
“Full Spectrum Medicine.” (FSM)

Creating that album taught me SO much, and gifted me the confidence to move forward with my service through music. I learned a lot about the creative and technical process of planning, creating and releasing an album. I learned to be patient, flexible, and dedicated beyond measure to birthing a creation.
But the most powerful lesson that came from that process was the understanding of how MUSIC WITH INTENTION can create an impact that is greater than me, and touch so many lives in a deeply positive and lasting way. This is what inspires me to continue to walk the path of creativity in service.

THE VISION:
~ I intend to create another full length album with all original songs:
I already have all the songs written and ready to record. These songs are specific transmissions from various inspirations, and have all come through in my prayers and meditations, straight from source.

~ Like my first album, I will be combining acoustic instrumentals with textured electronic production to accompany vocal looping, chants, toning and lyrics.
~ I will be working with Alex King-Harris (aka RaRa Avis): the same EPIC producer who created FSM with me. We already have a studio and schedule lined up for creation of this album.
~ Production and Recording will start in March, with the intention to complete this album by the end of 2017! So this will be a much faster, more efficient process than FSM.
~I ALSO intend to work toward creating Music Videos, Remixes, and alternate versions of songs from both FSM and this new album, so any EXTRA money raised will go toward that greater vision.

I am hoping to raise $13, 000 for this new project. This may seem like a lot, but this is what it takes to cover the REAL AND EXTENSIVE COSTS of doing an album PROPER!
