I Walk With Carmelino - Reward Fund

Donation protected
On the evening of Tuesday, April 18th, Carmelino Pable, a 70-year-old man, was walking his dog as usual near 91st and Burleigh Ave. when an African-American male in his early to mid 20s drove up in a white SUV (no plates), exited his vehicle, and repeatedly beat Carmelino over his head and body with a bat. The suspect then drove off. Carmelino suffered numerous injuries, including 20+ stitches on his head.

*WARNING: Graphic images*

As of right now, police are searching for the suspect. We, as a community, are rallying around our neighbor, Carmelino Pable, and are raising $2,500 in cash reward for any information from the public that will lead to the police arrest of the person responsible for this senseless crime. Let's reach our goal with urgency so that we can prevent this sort of attack from happening to anyone else! The capture of the suspect will bring answers, closure, and emotional healing to all involved.

Carmelino left his home in the Philippines in hopes of a better life in America. Despite the attack, Carmelino's family, friends, and community are so grateful for his survival, and continue to be respected members of their neighborhood.

Your donation may not only help solve this crime, but will reinforce the unity in our community!
Let's walk with Carmelino together.

*Donations exceeding the $2,500 goal will be donated towards Carmelino's medical expenses.
