Ivy Tech Warsaw Scholarship Drive

Hello! We’re Matt Gull and Tim Keyes of Ivy Tech Community College in Warsaw, Indiana. We were given a goal to help find new ways to raise funds for our local community college students who are in need of financial assistance, both great and small.
In response, we’ve partnered with the Ivy Tech Foundation to create the Ivy Tech Warsaw Campus and Community Scholarship. This scholarship fund will be purposefully flexible to ensure we can do the most good for the most amount of students. Whether it’s helping to buy that last textbook or helping with tuition for that last class in order to graduate, the funds will help those with financial hardships. The scholarship is not restricted to a particular type of student, nor will it have many ‘strings’ attached.
The scholarship’s name comes from its two halves. Part of the funding is being raised by our campus’ students, staff, and faculty. The other part is where you come in! We need our community to come together to help our students reach their educational goals. This is our first attempt at a crowdfunding scholarship drive, and we can’t do it without your help.
How much you can give doesn’t matter. The smallest amount will go toward a student’s success. Your donation is to a certified charity, the Ivy Tech Foundation, and is tax deductible (just in time for 2015). Every dollar will be applied to help students in the Warsaw community. When our students succeed, we help to build a stronger, more vibrant community for everyone.
